Chained Monkey Plays With Deadly Cobra; Viral Video Leaves Netizens Irked

Viral Video: Not everything is as funny as one might intend it to be, or at least that is what happened when this cameraperson recorded and shared a clip, which instead left people triggered. The video in question was of a chained monkey that was playing with a deadly cobra. The fact that the furry one did not understand that the reptile was hardly ‘playing back’, further made people irked. The snake might have been milked, but the clip still reminded people of ‘animal cruelty’ and a possible accident that could have taken place. At the end of the clip, the snake eventually left, as the monkey repeatedly tried to playfully hit it. 

The video was shared on the social media platform Instagram, by the handle ‘kAshiKyaTrA’.

The video, soon after getting shared on social media, left people reacting to it. Most hated the clip and dubbed it ‘animal cruelty’, while the rest chastised the cameraperson for tying up the monkey near a snake. Many also expressed their concerns over the monkey’s safety and some demanded action against the cameraperson.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “What is this f**ked up sh*t? There is a special place in hell for the person filming this and doing this to these animals,” a user said. “All the Americans crying animal cruelty thinking they have a privilege to even complain in the rest of the world,” wrote a second person. “That’s Animal Cruelty!!! Shame on you,” read a third person. 

“Absolutely f**ked up to do this to animals or people,” added a fourth user. “up, lack of knowledge and respect for animals,” said a fifth person. “Why is he tied up there next to the snakes? Stop animal abuse!” commented a sixth netizen. “Who posted this??? Let’s drop that dude in a cage full of snakes. Happy to watch,” wrote another.
