Viral Video: If ‘false entitlement’ had a face, this UP woman would surely be it. A woman in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur climbed an electric pole after she was caught having an affair with another man from a neighbouring village. The incident unfolded on April 03, after the husband, Ram Govind, caught his cheating wife, which led to an argument. The 34-year-old woman, who is also a mother of three, reportedly wanted her husband to let her lover stay in the same house, where her current family lives, to which the husband obviously refused.
However, despite being in the wrong, the woman instead chose to climb the electric pole, which had high-voltage wires. As per the reports, the affair was going on for the past seven years. As seen in the clip, a few men then brought the woman down from the pole. A video of the same was shared online, which went viral on the internet.
The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘NCMIndiaa’. The post was captioned, “For a change this time it's not a Husband who climbed to an electric Pole but instead it's the wife. In Gorakhpur, UP a Mother of three fell in love with a Man and asked her husband to allow her lover to stay in the same house. When the husband refused she climbed to an electric pole to force him to accept her demand.”

Taking to the comment section, netizens shared their views. “Leave her alone, didn't you listen to what Nehaji said? It's her choice. Then respect her choice of suicide,” a user said. “Why is she up? Didn't she cheat?” asked another person. “The way to find another boyfriend is a bit electrical,” said a fourth person.
“What the hell. She was the one to cheat. And then she wanted her boyfriend to stay with her family of 5? What is wrong with people these days? They just want to do anything,” said another. “Great. Just Indian things. I don’t understand why these people even tried to help her,” wrote a sixth user. “She was in the wrong, why is she getting to throw all these tantrums,” asked another.
