The internet is full of videos where humans often regret getting too close to some animals, especially the wild ones. A video of a man trying to pet a crocodile and regretting it later surfaced on social media. Although the reptile appeared to be smaller than an average crocodile, it still left the man with a bleeding hand. The video instantly went viral as most of the netizens pointed out the obvious result of such an action.

The video was shared on microblogging site X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘CCTV IDIOTS’. The post was captioned, “Dude touches a crocodile and finds out.”

The video began with a man petting a crocodile while the reptile was resting. But to the man’s surprise, the crocodile attacked the man in a split second. Before the reptile could attack again, the man immediately left the spot and started walking towards the other way. The man then proceeded to show his injured hand on the video that was bleeding.

Most of the netizens found the act immature as crocodiles are not the type of animals that are meant to pet. The video went viral and received 145,3K views from netizens. While some called him lucky for dodging a major injury, others dubbed it a suitable consequence for his immature actions.

Taking to the comment box, the people shared their thoughts. “That was immature,” a user said. “He did really find out,” added a second. “My hand started hurting for him,” joined a third viewer. “Omg made me jump,” said a fourth person. “For real bro?” asked a fifth netizen. “Why on earth one tease that thing?” commented a sixth person. “Learning through the blood,” said a seventh. “Did he think it was raising its head and opening it's jaw because it liked that?” asked another netizen.
