Viral Video: More than being a judicial body responsible for resolving cases, Delhi’s Saket Court has turned into a hub of petty fights and sometimes even shootings, from quite a while. In a recent incident, another brawl erupted, where some people went ‘wild’ on each other as they fought on the Court premises. However, what made the incident questionable was that the entire thing was happening in the presence of a police officer. A video of the same was shared online, which went viral.

Netizens, soon after making the clip viral, raised questions on the law and order situation in the Court and pointed out the ‘lack of security’ on a viral judiciary premise. The date of the incident could not be confirmed.

The video was shared on the social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Iyervval’. The post was captioned, “Kalesh in Saket Court today at 3 pm.”

The video, soon after getting shared, went viral and left people reacting. Most people were against the police’s ‘lack of action’ and raised questions about the police’s ‘poor’ control over miscreants, while the rest dubbed such Court fights ‘common’. The post was shared yesterday and pulled 34K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, netizens wrote down their views. “Uselessness of Delhi Police is captured well in this clip. They actually look like the cops in those 80s-90s Bollywood flicks,” a user said. “All wasted... If abroad, the victim would have got a lot of money from the accused or the admin there.. in India, no use getting hit.. no one will compensate,” wrote a second person.

“Sadly the police personnel look quite cosmetic in this whole episode.....they should be adept enough and fit enough to mitigate and neutralize the goons in the quickest time. But no training and certainly no tact or skill to overcome such incidents,” wrote a third person. “This is what happens when the government ignores the most important segment in a nation-building i.e. law enforcement,” commented a fourth user.
