Viral Video: As far as travelling through the Indian Railways is concerned, TTE is often regarded as the ultimate ‘authoritative’ figure on the train. Considering the same, a woman created a scene at the railway station, as she began to complain about the overcrowded train to the TTE. She especially highlighted issues that women might go through due to such crowding. A video of the same was shared on social media. However, what the TTE said in response, made the clip go viral among netizens. With folded hands and a seemingly answerable tone, the TTE reminded the lady that he was NOT the Railways minister.

The video left people laughing and siding with the TTE. Some also sided with the women’s issue as they believed that overcrowding is a real problem. However, most agreed with the TTE was never responsible for it.

The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Arhant Shelby’. The post was re-shared by the handle ‘Ghar ke kalesh’, with the caption, “Kalesh b/w Lady and TTE over Woman Complains About Overcrowded Train, TTE Joins Hands & Says 'I'm Not Railway Minister.”

The video went viral after being shared on social media. Most people pointed out that TTE was not wrong as he had nothing to do with the matter as such things are out of his control, while the rest criticised the woman for the tone she used with the TTE, despite him not being at fault. The post was shared yesterday and pulled 44K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “TTE bechara kya karega.. Sahi bola hai (What will the TTE do? He is not wrong),” a user said. “The TTE said nothing wrong. He is a ticket checker and sees if something is going wrong. The entire ticket booking process and other such issues are not under him. Why is this lady lecturing him with this kind of attitude? Foolish decision,” wrote a second person.

“That was completely uncalled for. She can complain about it, of course, but that tone to someone who is not even responsible for the issue is stupidity. The TTE gave her the correct reply,” joined a third person. “True! Issue sahi bola usne (The issue was correct). But this is also not in the hands of TTE,” added a fourth netizen.
