The meme was basically born out of a YouTube video, which had some random interviews. Among many interviews, this one girl, the now Hawk Thua girl, stood out the most as she had a hilarious answer to an intimate question that was asked of her. The question was about that ‘one move’, that as per her, can make a man go crazy. As she began to answer, her carefree statement ended up becoming the most popular meme on the internet right now. Answering the question, she said, “Oh, you have got to give it that 'hawk tuah' and spit on that thang, you get me?”

The candid interview was reportedly being conducted by YouTubers Tim and Dee TV, whereas the woman was from Tennessee’s Nashville. The woman, as per reports, is someone named Hailey Welch. As soon as the video of the girl answering with a much unique ‘vocabulary’ was shared online, it went viral and left people reacting. From hilarious jokes and memes to people turning the answer into ‘engaging bangers’, netizens left no change ‘untaken’ in making the girl and the meme popular.

The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘officalpostman’. The post read, “Hawk Tuah - The original interview that started it all.”
