The name for his channel might have been derived from one of the calmest animated characters, Master Oogway, but the Turkish-Dutch YouTuber himself was surely not popular for ‘decent content’. If you still haven't guessed, we are referring to YouTuber Omer Sastim, who was popularly known as Master Oogway on YouTube. 

The Youtuber remained in headlines over ‘controversial jokes and memes’ for the longest time, until his channel ultimately got banned. Taking to his social media handle, the YouTuber announced the ban and thanked his supporters for their support so far.

However, the YouTuber’s ‘farewell post’ received heavy criticism instead, as people called the ban ‘befitting’, and chastised the type of content he used to share. The YouTuber, as per another post, also blamed his ‘haters’ for multiple ‘spam reports’ against his channel, which eventually led to the ban.

The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘masteroogwgay’. The post read, “I’ve officially been cancelled. I appealed the ban but YouTube refused. Lost millions of fans that watched me and everything I worked for all over a silly joke. I want to thank everyone who watched and enjoyed my videos. I will now go on with my other businesses. Bye @YouTube.”

Wow the haters that spam reported me actually did it, I’m permanently banned from YouTube. Hope you guys will reconsider this as I definitely changed my content for the better @TeamYouTube,” read his other post.

The post went viral almost immediately and pulled countless reactions. Most people deemed the ‘ban’ fit and called the YouTuber’s content ‘questionable’, while the rest suggested he share his content on X. The post was shared two days ago and pulled more than a million views from people.
