Ostrich Viral Video: Imagine walking down a busy road and spotting a giant ostrich casually strutting past you, sounds unreal, right? But that’s exactly what happened in Edathala, a town in Kerala’s Ernakulam district, where people were left shocked and amused as the huge bird made a surprise appearance on a crowded street. The moment was captured in a viral video. In the video, stunned onlookers watch in shock as the enormous ostrich strolls down the street. The most unexpected aspect? The ostrich seemed to obey a man who was seen pointing at it as though he were directing traffic.
With over 7.4 million views and a flurry of humorous responses, the video swiftly went viral on social media. While some users were shocked and compared it to scenes from Jumanji, another joked that 'Keralites are importing everything now.'
The president of the Edathala panchayat, Liji Rakesh, later disclosed that the ostrich was one of several that a local resident kept as pets. "One of them managed to get away and ended up travelling. Before being brought home safely, it wandered around for a while," Rajesh said.
