An unexpected help during an emergency can often end up making someone’s day far better than one can ever imagine. Experiencing something similar, a Hyderabad woman shared her story, where her Uber driver ended up being a huge help to her in the sweetest way possible. The said woman, as per her post about the incident, was on her way to a hospital to visit her boyfriend. However, after the Uber trip ended, the woman’s online payment did not work, resulting in her asking the driver to wait so that she could bring some cash from the hospital. However, when the woman came back, the driver was already gone.
The woman recalled that the distance was less and the driver, in his 50s, somewhat reminded the woman of her father. The woman also clarified that she was in a hurry and visibly in panic, which the driver must have noticed. The post went viral almost immediately and gained a whole lot of reactions. Most people lauded the Uber driver.
The post was shared on Reddit, by the Redditor ‘Straight-Demand-2847’. The post was titled, “Kind gesture by an Uber driver.”
Its description further read, “My bf was in hospital. I took an Uber moto to reach the hospital while paying my phone pe did not work.. I was feeling really bad for making the driver wait as it was scorching heat out in the afternoon and my phone pe wasn't working. I requested him to wait to get the cash from inside. After I hurriedly came out he already left there without taking any money. It was a small amount but still, the gesture meant a lot to me. He was in his fifties and reminded me of my dad for a moment. That he just kindly dropped and left from there without saying anything much.” The post was shared a few hours ago and pulled countless upvotes.

“That's nice. a few days ago I booked an Ola bike but the bike got some problems after 10 minutes. The area was not so very nice, so I tried booking another bike through the app. He was with me the whole time, talked to the other guy as well to give directions to where we were, and only left after I left the place. I was so scared, and I thought he would leave me there with no help. I tried paying him but He didn't even take any money for the short trip until the bike broke down. well, that was really kind,” added another.
“It is nice hearing about such incidents happening when, most of the time people have bad experiences with Uber/ola riders,” added another.
