Viral Video: April might be the fourth month of the year for the rest of the world, but for a majority of Indian states and certain cultures, the traditional new year began just a few days ago. From Punjab and Kerala to Assam and more, several traditional calendars marked their first day in the month of April. Among these, West Bengal was also one of the states where people celebrated Pohela Boishakh, which basically means Bengali New Year, on April 14. And in the midst of all the celebrations and greetings, there was this one greet from Korea, which stole the most attention.
A Korean woman, in her bid to greet ‘Shubho Nobo Borsho’ to everyone, danced to the beautiful song ‘Aaj Jaane Ki Zid Na Karo’. Her artistic greeting instantly won hearts all over on the internet. From her captivating expressions to her simple yet beautiful saree, people left no stone unturned in applauding every aspect of her performance, along with her efforts.
The video was shared on social media platform Instagram, by the handle ‘Dasom Her’. The post was captioned, “This song, this dance, has stolen my heart. Shubho Nobo Borsho, my warriors of light! Your presence brings me immense gratitude, and I’m so happy to have you by my side on this journey. My goal is to continue creating content that brings joy to your lives and mine too.”

The video turned out to be a hit, as a majority of netizens loved the woman and her dance. Many also came forward to wish her and flooded her post with their greetings for the festival. The post was shared two days ago and pulled thousands of likes from admirers.

Taking to the comments section, people shared their take. “You give such nice expressions and Kathak will be the ideal dance form for you,” a user said. “Shubho Noboborsho ... Beautiful performance and Saree,” added a second person. “I love you for everything. So glad to have you as an inspiration in front of me,” added a third user. “Wow... So beautifully performed. Happy New Year and lots of love and best wishes,” wished a fourth admirer.
