If you still haven’t heard the popular tunes of ‘Aye haye Oye Hoye’ on your social media platforms, are you even using the internet? From reels, memes, jokes to skits, netizens have found a new song to play in the background- all thanks to Pakistani musician Chahat Fateh Ali Khan. Still no clue of what we are talking about? Well, a few weeks back, the words ‘Aye haye Oye Hoye, Bado Badi’, which also is a song, began to do rounds on social media. Turned out, the said tune was a song by Khan, which was also shared on his YouTube channel. The craze grew to such a level that the song eventually became a major meme material.
However, just recently, some ‘sad’ reports began to make a fuss on the internet, when people began to claim that the video had been deleted from the singer’s channel. As per reports, the song is no longer on the singer’s YouTube channel, and fans can’t stop reacting to the same. But what exactly happened? Before jumping in on the reason, let’s take a brief look at what the song was all about.
‘Bado Badi’ was yet another ‘masterpiece’ that Khan shared. In the video, he was seen dancing and singing with a model, who reportedly goes by the name Wajdan Rao.
The song, on the other hand, was doing ‘well’ in the ‘field of memes’, until ‘copyright’ accusations began to float. As per some reports, the song allegedly matches a bit too closely with another song from the 90s, that reportedly starred Noor Jehan. Many spoke of the resemblance in the video but also pointed out the vast difference between the tunes and vocals. Eventually, reports claiming that Khan had to take the video down due to ‘copyright infringement allegations’ surfaced online.
As soon as the sad ‘fate’ of Khan’s version of ‘Bado Badi’ came to light, fans began to react. Taking to social media, people dubbed it a ‘Moye Moye’ moment and shared hilarious reactions.
