Viral Video: Not that it was any good before, but Pakistan’s politics further spiraled after former Pak Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif made a comeback in the country after a 4-year self-exile. Amid all this, former PM Imran Khan’s arrest and current PM Shehbaz Sharif’s ‘failures’ further divided the public and their stance on the matter. Becoming a prime example of the same, a hilarious video surfaced online, where a reporter, who appeared to be a Nawaz supporter accidentally ‘rubbed’ an Imran Khan supporter the wrong way. As a result, the man being interviewed, along with a friend, ended up brutally beating up the reporter for calling Imran a ‘chor’.

A video of the same went viral and left the public laughing. The video was shared on the social media site X (formerly Twitter) by the user ‘vivek tiwari’. The post was then re-shared by the X handle ‘Ghar ke kalesh’, with the caption, “Kalesh b/w Pakistani reporter and Imran Khan supporter.”

The video went viral and pulled all kinds of reactions from netizens. Most found the incident funny and cracked jokes on Pakistan’s political turmoil, while others found the man’s blind support ‘concerning’. Some also called it scripted and others questioned the lack of actions by the cameraman. The post was shared yesterday and pulled thousands of views.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “I was not expecting that,” said another. “I am thinking about what was on camera man's mind!!” said a next. “That is a crazy supporter right there. He will never be able to hear anything wrong about his leader. Those are the dangerous kinds,” joined a third person. “Why is the cameraperson just filming this and not doing anything? The way he is acting, it makes me feel as if this was scripted,” said a fourth person.

“This is so sad yet funny at the same time,” commented a fifth netizen. “Political stands can be extremely toxic sometimes, and this right here is a prime example,” said a sixth person.
