Portuguese Tourist Viral Video: A peaceful day at a stunning natural pool in Meghalaya turned into a hard-hitting reminder about how poorly some tourists treat nature. A video that’s now going viral shows a visitor from Portugal doing something many locals wish others would do: clean up after themselves. The video, shot by content creator Dappura Chyne, captures his disappointment as he points toward the clear water that sadly hides beer bottles and plastic wrappers at the bottom.

In the video, Dappura says, "So, guys. This is very sad. We are here in this beautiful, natural pool, and deep inside, we can see there are plastic packets and beer bottles. And right now, we have Bruno Sir from Portugal, and he said this is really sad." He then adds, "And he is ready to go in. It is really sad that someone has to do it for us. Whoever is responsible for this, keep the place clean wherever you go."

Moments later, the tourist, identified as Bruno, dives straight into the cold water. He swims down, picks up two beer bottles and several pieces of plastic waste, and brings them back to the surface. He then hands them over to Dappura, who continues filming the powerful moment.

The post shared with the caption 'Out of words' quickly gained attention. Viewers were furious at the careless visitors who left the trash behind and praised Bruno for doing what others chose to ignore.

One user wrote, "This is what happens in Goa when influencers and people put it up on Instagram and attract low-life indian tourists. We Goans are left to suffer and live in their dump," a user wrote. "That's truly very sad. When will we learn to be a responsible traveller/tourist?" a second user wrote. "It's so good to see that our state is becoming more and more famous and known as the day passes by, the sad reality is that people are littering our mother nature," wrote a third user.

"Volunteering to clean nature is how we repay the planet that shelters us. I can join too," added a fourth user. "Unfortunately, this is the reality of Indian Tourists. No sense of belongingness and zero civic sense," added a fifth user. "Civic sense in India is nil. For some, it's a crime," wrote another user.
