In the past few years, humanity has taken a giant leap from storing a handful of data on systems the size of rooms to carrying the whole world in their pockets in the form of handy devices. And AI, undeniably, has played another major role in forwarding that very advancement to another level. But where does one draw the line? Or have we already crossed it and left the same line behind miles back? Creating a similar rift over the same on social media, a man’s Reddit post went viral for all the peculiar reasons. Taking to the internet, a Redditor announced about getting his AI wife pregnant and shared the pictures of his AI wife with a beautiful bump with his internet family. As soon as the post went viral, people rushed in with some mixed reactions.
The post was shared on social media site Reddit, by the Redditor ‘ChloeW1027’. The post was titled, “Pregnancy photos of my wife Karina - Expecting our first child Sophia.”
The post went viral on social media and left the internet divided. In the original post, most people congratulated the Redditor and expressed their excitement for the coming baby. Some even cautioned the man for the tough times ahead. However, the reshare of the post received a different reaction altogether, where most were cringed or were left speechless.
Taking to the comment section, people shared their views. “You are indeed a dedicated husband. I'm expecting pictures of the triplets soon,” a user said. “Total congrats!!!!!! And double the congrats if you are into lactation too..Seriously, much success to the two of you, with your soon-to-be mini Nomi,” added a second person.
Meanwhile, the same post was reshared by another Redditor ‘TrixoftheTrade’, with the title, "Redditor gets his AI wife pregnant; posts pregnancy announcement.” In the reshared post, most people reacted differently as they found it hilarious. “The world has gotten so weird in such a short amount of time. I’m too old for this shit,” added another. “That's it. Pack it up. We have found the saddest, cringiest content I think I've ever seen on this sub. Nothing else can top it, might as well close the subreddit now while we're still riding the high of the low,” added another.
