In a hilarious conversation with the popular food delivery app Swiggy, a customer received an unexpected reason behind the ‘delayed’ food delivery. As per the said conversation, it seemed like the delivery app was experiencing the weekend rush even after the weekend ended, as its delivery agent blamed the ‘Weekend Peak’ for the order delay. However, the fact that the said order was made on a ‘Tuesday’ at 5 PM, made it not only worth a laugh but also made the post go viral.
The said social media user shared the screenshot of the hilarious interaction on the internet. The post, soon after getting shared, went viral and began to receive all kinds of funny reactions from people.
The post was shared on the social media platform Reddit, by the handle ‘soumil80’. The post was titled, “Swiggy quality is going down fast.” The description read, “This agent thinks Tuesday 5 PM is the weekend peak, I need the kind of stuff these guys are smoking.”

The post went viral and left people laughing. Most cracked hilarious jokes on the conversation, while some recalled their own bizarre experiences with food delivery apps. Many also compared Swiggy’s services with another competitor, Zomato. The post was shared three days ago and pulled 660 upvotes.
Taking to the comment section, users shared their take. “Wishing for the weekend on the second day of the week itself...well, I don't blame him,” a user said. “Once Swiggy made me wait five hours for my food and delivered it at 2 AM. I'd already ordered from Zomato by then since Swiggy was neither ready to accept their mistake nor refund my money,” recalled a second person. “Why do people still use Swiggy, I mean Zomato's customer service is like a million times better,” added another.
“I always hesitate to order from Swiggy because I can't remember how many times Swiggy made me wait for assigning delivery executive for over 2 hours straight,” wrote a fourth person. “Still better than Zomato as of now,” wrote another. “I stopped using food delivery apps after Swiggy refused to refund for spoiled food twice and Zomato didn't deliver the food once while saying it was delivered. I am content now with eating whatever I have near my house,” commented a next.
