The fact that the song has used a real cat's 'meows' is what makes this song special. In fact, the song is trending on Instagram as netizens cannot get enough of the furry singer, George Rufus, singing her heart out.
But amid all this, if you thought that this was simply a song that had a cat as the main vocalist, then think again, as it seems that other cats can really understand it! Recently, a video was shared on Instagram, that clearly pointed towards the cat song taking over the 'cat world'.
The clip that is shared by the Instagram handle 'catszick', shows a cat singing accurately along to the cat song. Expressing the astonishment related to the 'cat song fever', the user captioned the post as "Cat music is real y'all".

In the clip, which is now heavily circulating on social media, a furry singer can be seen testing its vocal limits. The best part is that the singing is happening alongside the famous cat song that has been ruling social media since the day it was posted on Instagram and the YouTube handles of the composer. The cat seems to be also looking for the other singer thinking that the other singing cat is somewhere near.

The video, of course, garnered tonnes of reaction as people immediately fell in love with the 4-legged vocalist. Many netizens expressed their surprise as the popularity of the cat song among the real cats came as a shocker to us all.
