Viral Snake Video: If it wasn’t a rule, documentators and camerapersons recording the wildlife probably would have interfered a lot, especially with the aim of saving the poor preys. However, the same ‘rule’ hardly applies to normal passers-by crossing a forested area, which is exactly why some people decided to help out a deer that was trapped in an Indian python’s death grip, somewhere in Uttarakhand's Dehradun.
A video of people rescuing the deer by shooing away the reptile was later shared on social media, but it left some people displeased. Confused as to why? Well, many believed that the ‘rescue mission’ was more of an ‘interference’ in the wildlife. Whereas some found nothing wrong with what the rescuers did.
The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘sunaina_bhola’. The post was captioned, “See how the Indian python trying to hunt spotted deer somewhere in Dehradun #Uttarakhand. But thanks to the passers-by who saved the deer.” The video was shared today and pulled more than 8K views from people.

The video, soon after getting shared, went viral and left people reacting. Most advocated for the helper and were thankful for saving the poor deer’s life, while the rest dubbed its disruption the ‘natural course of nature’.
Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “That should be considered a crime. One should not disturb what mother nature has decided,” a user said. “I know we should not interfere in the wild, but watching a poor animal die like that was surely something that was hard to watch. So in the end, I agree with what the people nearby did,” added a second person.
“For people shouting about interference in nature- humans are also part of that nature. He thought of that deer, the snake will again find some, maybe no human is around that time,” added a third person. “It's inappropriate to interfere with wildlife as a basic rule. #Nature,” added a fourth user. “This is just very frightening,” added another.
