Assam Viral Video: The thought of using a bathroom turned into a nightmare for many, after a terrifying incident from Assam surfaced online and went viral. Around 35 baby snakes were found inside a bathroom in a house in Assam’s Nagaon, a video of which was also shared on social media. The snakelets were recently hatched, which made the incident further unsettling. The incident, as per new agency ANI, unfolded in the Kaliabor area yesterday, May 27, where the reptiles were rescued by an animal lover.

The video went viral and pulled multiple reactions from people. Most found the incident threatening, while the rest expressed concerns about the safety of the residents.

The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), on the handle of the news agency ANI. The post was captioned, “Around 35 snakes crawl were found in a house in the Kaliabor area of Assam's Nagaon district. The snakes were recovered by Sanjib Deka who is an animal lover.”

Further updating on the matter, the reducer informed that the bathroom was newly constructed. Meanwhile, the snakes have now been released. “The house owner informed me about the presence of snakes and I reached the spot. I found that many snakes were crawling at the place. I recovered around 35 snakes crawling from a newly constructed toilet of the house. Later I released the snakes crawl at Joisagar Dalani area,” the rescuer, Sanjib Deka, was quoted as saying to ANI.

The video was shared yesterday and pulled 91K views from people. Taking to the comment section, people shared their take.

“Not a good place to build toilets, later snakes may come back again,” a user said. “This is just very scary. I want to throw the whole bathroom away, not an ideal one to use.
