Iran Claims It Executed 'Mossad Agent' Amid Israel-Hamas War In Gaza

A person described as an "agent of Israel's Mossad" intelligence service by the Iranian media has been executed by authorities in Iran, global news agency Reuters reported citing Iran's official media on Saturday. 

"This person communicated with foreign services, including Mossad, collecting classified information, and with participation with associates, provided documents to foreign services, including the Mossad," Iranian state news agency IRNA said in its report.

The purported execution comes amidst the armed conflict in Gaza between Israeli forces and Palestinian militant outfit Hamas, which is part of the Iranian-led "axis of Resistance" -- an unofficial anti-West, anti-Israel coalition in the Middle East.
