At least four people were killed and five others sustained injuries in a bomb explosion at a market in Balochistan’s Khuzdar district on Wednesday, officials confirmed. The blast, caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) attached to a parked motorbike, occurred in the Naal Bazaar, police said.
Naal police Station House Officer (SHO) Bahawal Khan Pindrani stated that one of the injured individuals was in critical condition. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Javed Zehri added that several vehicles were also damaged in the explosion.
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti strongly condemned the attack, ordering authorities to provide the injured with the best possible medical care. "Terrorism will be eradicated in all its forms," he asserted, vowing that the perpetrators would be brought to justice.

Balochistan has witnessed persistent violence for over two decades. This incident follows a series of recent attacks across Pakistan. On January 26, a car bomb explosion near a passenger bus in Khuzdar killed two people and injured seven others.
A day before the Khuzdar blast, a major terrorist attack occurred at a military base in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Two suicide bombers detonated explosives to breach a wall at the Bannu Cantonment, allowing other attackers to storm the compound.
Security forces engaged in a gun battle, resulting in the deaths of at least twelve people, including four children, and injuries to 30 others. Jaish ul Fursan, a group recently aligned with Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), claimed responsibility for the Bannu attack.
On February 28, a powerful blast struck a mosque in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during Friday prayers, killing at least five people and injuring 20 others. Among the victims was Hamidul Haq Haqqani, chief of his faction of the Jamiat Ulema Islam (JUI), officials confirmed.
