Taha Siddique, whose X (formerly known as Twitter) bio earlier used to describe him as a Pakistani journalist living in exile, shared the video of Roma Michael's ramp walk on X with a message that read, "Roma Michael, as Ms. Pakistan at the Miss World Grand Show. The Pakistani local media did not cover this story, nor gave it the attention it deserves due to their Islamist bigotry of policing women's bodies."
Commenting on the post, a user wrote, "Ur already in exhile (sic), so what's the point of defaming your own country by posting it ???" Meanwhile, another handle commented, "Of course she will not be going to stay in Pakistan, the replies alone to this post give a hint of what her fate would likely be."
