2024 Mercedes-Benz EQS: German luxury automobile manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has updated its top-tier electric sedan, the EQS, for the 2024 model year. There are minor cosmetic changes in the design of the Mercedes-Benz EQS and the battery size has been increased, enabling the sedan to go farther on a single charge. Launch date of the 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQS in the Indian market has not been revealed yet, however, it is expected to arrive in India soon.

2024 Mercedes-Benz EQS - Battery and Range
One of the most significant improvements in the 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQS is the larger battery pack. The manufacturer has replaced the battery pack and has increased its capacity by 10 per cent. Previously, the EQS was equipped with a 108.4 kWh battery pack, however, it will now be equipped with a 118 kWh battery pack, enabling it to travel longer distances on a full charge. The EQS 450 4MATIC version of the electric vehicle now offers a range of up to 799 kilometers, an increase from the previous 717 kilometers. The EQS 450+ version boasts even more range, with the manufacturer claiming it can go up to 822 kilometers on a single charge. In India, the EQS comes with a 107.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, providing a claimed range of 857 kilometers on one charge. With the upgraded larger battery pack in the facelifted EQS, expect the range to increase to nearly 900 kilometers.
2024 Mercedes-Benz EQS - New Design
In terms of design, the 2024 Mercedes EQS has a black radiator cover with chrome details and the ventilation nozzles on the B-pillars have chrome frames. Inside, the rear insert cushion has upgraded piping made of nappa leather. Additionally, there's an optional Rear Comfort Package Plus with executive seats that have a slanted footrest on the right side. There's also a special edition of the EQS with unique exterior colors.

2024 Mercedes-Benz EQS - New Features
Talking about features, the 2024 EQS facelift introduces an automatic lane changing feature as part of the Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC with Active Steering Assist. This feature allows the car to change lanes automatically when encountering slower vehicles, within a speed range of 80-140 km/h. Another standout feature is the MBUX Hyperscreen, a set of three screens at the front, which is now standard across all variants.
