The country is set to receive some major SUV launches in the coming months. From Tata Sierra to Renault Duster, here we are sharing the information about the top 5 upcoming SUVs in India.

Tata Sierra 2025

The Tata Sierra is all set to be launched in India on November 5, 2025. The upcoming Tata Sierra 2025 is expected to feature a tall and flat front fascia with vertically-placed, squared LED headlights. It is also expected to get a connected LED DRL, and the test mule was spotted with a large air intake with the ADAS panel integrated within. The Tata Sierra 2025 will get a triple-screen setup and a panoramic sunroof. The Sierra 2025 also features a white theme inside the cabin. It is also expected to feature electrically powered and ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, a dual-zone climate control system, a wireless charger, and more.

Mahindra XEV 9S

Mahindra is gearing up to launch its 7-seater electric SUV, the XEV 9S, in the country on November 27, 2025. The XEV 9S will share its overall silhouette with the outgoing Mahindra XEV 9E. However, it looks longer to incorporate third row seats. The teaser video released by the brand also shows some portions of the front fascia of the 7-seater electric SUV. It gets Y-shaped LED DRLs, dual-projector-based LED headlights, and a closed grille at the front. the XEV 9S will be equipped with a tri-screen setup similar to the one in the XEV 9e. The tri-screen setup in the XEV 9e comprises a touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, and a passenger's display. Moreover, we also see a two-spoke steering wheel with an 'Infinity' logo, black-coloured seats

Maruti Suzuki E-Vitara

Maruti Suzuki, the largest car manufacturer in India, is fully prepared to launch its first electric vehicle, the e-Vitara, in India in December 2025. The E-Vitara features a sharp and modern design language, similar to the model showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo. The Maruti Suzuki E-Vitara has already been launched in Europe in June 2025. The car is available with 2 Battery pack options- a 49 kWh and a 61 kWh and both of these batteries are based on BYD’s LFP chemistry. The e-Vitara offered in Britain is available with a 2WD and a 4WD configuration, and the model with the larger battery pack is expected to deliver a claimed range of 500 kilometers in a single charge.

Renault Duster

The Duster has remained a popular SUV in India since it was introduced for the first time. The previous generation Duster was discontinued in 2022, and now the brand is set to launch the new Renault Duster 2025 on January 26, 2025. The upcoming Renault Duster 2026 is expected to be heavily loaded in terms of safety, and features, and features. A test mule spotted earlier during testing hints at the SUV getting a three-screen setup with a 10.1-inch touchscreen-based infotainment system, and 7-inch display for the co-passenger, and a fully digital instrument cluster.

Nissan Tekton

Nissan Tekton is the brand’s C-segment SUV that has been spied testing on the Indian roads several times on the internet. The brand has not yet specified the official launch date for the Nissan Tekton. However, it has revealed the SUV ahead of its global launch. The Tekton by Nissan shares its CMF-B platform with the upcoming Renault Duster. The brand has not yet revealed any details regarding the interior of the Nissan Tekton. However, the upcoming Nissan C-segment SUV in India is anticipated to feature a larger 10.1-inch touch screen infotainment system with a 7-inch fully digital driver’s display. It is also expected to come equipped with features such as a 360-degree camera, multiple driver modes, rear AC vents, and an automatic climate control system.
