Jeep India is set to launch the new Wrangler SUV on April 22, in the country. This updated version of the Wrangler, which had its global debut in 2023, is now making its way to India. The upcoming facelift of the Jeep Wrangler is expected to bring several design and feature updates, although the powertrain is likely to remain unchanged for the Indian model.

Jeep India currently retails four SUVs in India which include the Wrangler, Compass, Meridian, and Grand Cherokee. The Jeep Compass is the most affordable SUV by the manufacturer in the country, while the Jeep Wrangler is positioned just below the flagship Jeep Grand Cherokee. 

Jeep Wrangler Facelift - Design 

Talking about its exterior design, the facelifted Wrangler will showcase a refreshed front profile, featuring a sleek blacked-out grille with Jeep's iconic seven-slat design. For wheels, the Indian model will offer 17 and 18-inch alloy options, different from the international variants that have a wider selection. Roof options for India are expected to include hard-top and soft-top variants. 

Jeep Wrangler Facelift - Interior 

In terms of interior layout and design, the cabin of the new Wrangler will see slight revisions with an enlarged 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It will also include features like wireless smartphone connectivity, automatic climate control, 12-way adjustable powered front seats, and a fully digital instrument panel.

Jeep Wrangler Facelift - Engine Specs 

Under the hood, the facelifted Wrangler will likely retain the 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission from the outgoing model. This setup delivers a power output of 268 bhp and 400 Nm of torque to all four wheels through Jeep's Selec-Trac 4WD system.
