Shravan Kumar Profile: Shravan Kumar (68), the Minister for Rural Development in the Bihar government, is a politician and social worker currently serving as the sitting MLA from Nalanda. A prominent leader of the Janata Dal (United), he is once again contesting from the Nalanda constituency in the upcoming Bihar Assembly Election 2025. Known as a traditional stronghold of the JDU, Nalanda remains a key battleground where Shravan Kumar aims to retain his seat and continue his long-standing association with the region.
Shravan Kumar has served as an MLA from the Nalanda Vidhan Sabha seat multiple times since 1995. Nalanda is a high-profile constituency among the 243 assembly seats in Bihar. It was established in 1977, and is part of the Nalanda Lok Sabha constituency. Nalanda will vote in the first phase of Bihar Election 2025, on November 6. The results will be declared by the Election Commission on November 14.
