CM Nischay Scheme for Graduate: Nischay Self-Employment Scheme: The Bihar government has broadened the scope of the Chief Minister's Nischay Self-Employment Allowance Scheme to support young individuals in becoming self-reliant and aid them in their job search.

Bihar Nischay Scheme Expansion: Graduate Unemployed To Get Allowance

The CM’s Nischay scheme, originally planned to help youth become self-employed, now includes Graduate Youth, launched under the Seven Resolves initiative in 2016. The scheme provided benefits exclusively to unemployed youth who had completed their intermediate (12th) education. However, the government has now extended the scheme's coverage to include graduate youth, offering them a monthly stipend for two years.

Eligibility Criteria For Nischay Scheme

To be eligible for the scheme, applicants must meet the following requirements :
- Age: Between 20 and 25 years old

- Education: Completed graduation in arts, science, or commerce from a recognised university or institution

- Employment Status: Not engaged in self-employment or any government, private, or non-government job

- Student Status: Not currently enrolled in any educational institution

- Job Search: Actively seeking employment

Nichay Scheme For Unemployed Graduate Youth: Application Process

The Bihar government has introduced an online registration facility for the scheme. Interested youth can register themselves on the Seven Resolves portal and must appear at the District Registration and Counselling Centre (DRCC), Basdila, for document verification.

Required Documents For Bihar Nischay Scheme

Applicants need to submit the following documents for verification:

- Matriculation and Intermediate Certificates: Mark sheets and certificates

- Graduation Certificate: Mark sheet and certificate

- College Leaving Certificate: Proof of leaving college

- Aadhaar Card: Identity proof

- Bank Passbook: Bank account details

- Residence Certificate: Proof of residence

Benefits and Impact

The scheme aims to provide financial support to unemployed graduate youth, enabling them to sustain themselves while searching for jobs.

According to Niraj Kumar, Scheme Officer and Nodal Officer, DRCC Basdila, this initiative will undoubtedly provide economic assistance and help young individuals become self-reliant.
