According to the Meteorological Centre, Patna, this weather system is expected to bring increased rainfall activity, especially in the northern districts. Drizzle accompanied by thunder may occur in Patna and surrounding areas over the coming days.
A red alert for very heavy rainfall has been issued for the next 24 hours in four districts — Purnia, Katihar, Araria, and Kishanganj. Additionally, a warning for heavy rainfall has been issued for six other districts, including East Champaran, West Champaran, Kaimur, Supaul, Madhepura, and Buxar.

Thunderstorms with lightning and strong winds blowing at speeds of 30–40 km/h are also expected in these regions. The northern parts of the state are likely to experience persistent rainfall and thunderstorm activity over the next six days.
Despite intermittent cloud cover, Patna and nearby areas experienced humid conditions on Thursday. The state recorded scattered rainfall over the last 24 hours, with Nokha in Rohtas receiving the highest rainfall at 56.6 mm.
