While the Assembly election in Bihar is due in the later months of the year, all the political parties have started their preparations. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Sunday informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bihar in April. He stated that while PM Modi visited Bihar in February to announce several schemes, he will again visit the poll-bound state next month.
Choudhary stated that PM Modi had announced several schemes and projects when he visited Bhagalpur district in February, adding that he will announce more projects in his next visit. He stated that the Bihar BJP state unit had urged the prime minister to visit Bihar, adding the prime minister will inaugurate the new terminal of Patna airport and lay the foundation stone of Bihta airport. He is also likely to lay the foundation stone and inaugurate some new schemes.

Bihar deputy chief minister provided these details while addressing a press conference at the BJP state headquarters. He emphasised the PM Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar are committed to the development of Bihar, adding that the opposition has no vision for the state and they question every development work of the state. He stated that the NDA government is trying to provide a boost to the infrastructure of the state.
He stated that people from every corner of Bihar will be able to reach the capital city Patna in 4 hours by 2027. Apart from this, he further stated that the government will provide total 50 lakh jobs, adding that while 12 lakh out of these will be government jobs, other 38 lakh will be given through entrepreneurship and in private sector.
While talking about the recently presented state budget, Choudhary stated that the budget will empower youth and women of the state. He reminded that while Bihar was suffering before 2005, the state has significantly developed under the leadership of Nitish Kumar.
