Ahead of the upcoming state elections, the Central Government has announced a significant boost to the education sector in Bihar. The Union Cabinet has approved the establishment of 19 new KendriyaVidyalayas (KVs) across the state. The information was provided by Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.

This decision is expected to help the state reach new heights in the education sector by providing high-quality schooling infrastructure to a wider range of students.

Approved Locations For New Kendriya Vidyalayas

The new schools will be opened in the following locations, with several situated in aspirational districts to promote development:

20th Battalion SSB Paktola, District Sitamarhi (Aspirational)

ITBP Katihar, District Katihar (Aspirational)

Kaimur, District Bhabua

Jhanjharpur, District Madhubani

Madhubani, District  Madhubani

Nimi, Sheikhopursarai, District Sheikhpura (Aspirational)

Jamuara and Katnikol, District Sheikhpura

Madhepura, District Madhepura

Walmi, District Patna

Arwal, District Arwal

Purnia, District Purnia (Aspirational)
