Axis Bank: India's Private sector lender 'Axis Bank' on Tuesday introduced digital US Dollar Fixed Deposit (FD) for NRI customers at the IFSC Banking Unit (IBU) in Gift City, Gujarat.
In a statement, the bank said that With this introduction, they became the first bank to offer a digital journey for GIFT City deposits.
Axis Bank's NRI customers can now open US dollar fixed deposits through 'Open by Access Bank', the bank's mobile application, in Gujarat's Gift City, said the bank.

The offering claims to simplify the US dollar fixed deposit booking process for NRI customers by providing them with end-to-end digital paperless facilities that eliminate the need for physical documents.
With seamless FD account opening anytime from anywhere, customers can track and manage their FD digitally. With attractive interest rates, Axis Bank offers excellent investment opportunities to NRIs.
US Dollar Fixed Deposit also offers a wide range of investment tenure from seven days to ten years, customers can request partial or full premature closure of the FD from the Axis Bank mobile application.
