CNG Price Hike: The government has increased the prices of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) by one rupee per kg across Delhi-NCR. The hike in prices has come into effect from today (June 22). Following the hike, the CNG will be available in Delhi at Rs 75.09 per kg instead of Rs 74.09. The hike will affect the retail prices of CNG in many cities of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan including the national capital region. 

Not just Delhi, the CNG prices in Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad have also increased by one rupee per kg. Earlier the price for one kg CNG was 78.70 per kg in these regions, now consumers have to pay Rs 79.70 for one kg CNG.

However, there were no changes in the prices of CNG in Gurugram, part of NCR. The nearby Haryana cities of Karnal and Kaithal also witnessed no change in the prices of CNG. 

It should be noted that CNG prices have already been hiked in various cities including Lucknow, Unnao, Agra, and Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh. The new CNG price in these cities is Rs 94 per kg, a two rupee rise from the earlier 92.25 per kg. 

Check CNG Prices In Other Cities 

The CNG prices also witnessed a hike in the Rewari of Haryana, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar and Shamli of Uttar Pradesh and Ajmer, Pali and Rajsamand of Rajasthan. The change in prices came into effect from today (June 22). CNG prices in Rewari hiked to Rs 79.70 per kg from Rs 78.70 per kg.

While in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut, Shamli, and Muzaffarnagar,  the price has increased from Rs 79.08 to Rs 80.08 per kg. The CNG prices in Ajmer, Pali and Rajsamand of Rajasthan have been increased by one rupee per kg. Now, the CNG will be available in these cities at the rate of Rs 82.94 per kg instead of Rs 81.94 per kg.
