Government Website To Check Schemes 

The Government of India launched a new website called My Scheme Portal, www.myscheme.gov.in that offers a comprehensive overview of all the schemes run by the Central and State Governments. The website currently features over 1,470 schemes, including more than 500 from the central government and more than 970 from the state and union territory governments.

Benefits Of Using My Scheme Portal

My Scheme is a national platform that provides a one-stop solution to find government schemes. Citizens can browse and search for various government schemes on this portal. Moreover, this portal can also help you find the best plan for your needs. To find the right schemes for you: 

  • Go to the MyScheme portal and click on ‘Find Scheme for You’.

  • You will be asked to enter your gender, age and marital status. Then, you will need to select your state.

  • Next, you will have to choose your category from the options given. If you are differently abled, you will have to answer yes or no.

  • After that, you will have to provide your job status and the field of your job. You will also have to indicate whether you are below the poverty line or not.

  • Finally, you will have to enter your family income and submit the form.

Once you click on submit, you will see the schemes that match your profile on your screen. This portal provides information about the advantages and the required documents of each scheme. It also explains how to apply for them.
