As per BCCI, Shardul Thakur was the pick among the bowlers during the intra-squad match.

Gill, who has represented India in 32 Test matches, became team India's new Test skipper last month and will be making his debut as Test captain on June 20. He has become the 37th player to lead the team from the front in the longest format.
The Men in Blue last won a Test series against England in their backyard way back in 2007 and that too under the captaincy of Rahul Dravid as they defeated England by 1-0 during the three-match Test series.
Team India's head coach Gautam Gambhir had also flown back to India owing to a family medical emergency and would be going back to England next week before the series opener.
