During the World Cup 2023 match between India and Pakistan, Rohit Sharma delivered a brilliant performance on the field. And off the field, Sachin Tendulkar made a strong presence on social media, particularly on the platform 'X.' Tendulkar engaged in a light-hearted banter with his good friend and former Pakistani fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar.

The exchange started when Shoaib Akhtar posted a cheeky message and a throwback photo of one of his dismissals of Tendulkar on 'X' as part of a promotional campaign on the eve of the highly anticipated World Cup 2023 match. In his message, Akhtar expressed support for the Pakistan team.

However, Sachin Tendulkar responded to Akhtar's post after India secured a comprehensive 7-wicket victory over Pakistan. Tendulkar's response was well-received on 'X,' and it came after India bowled out Pakistan for just 191 runs and chased down the target in 30.3 overs, with Rohit Sharma leading the way with a sensational 86 off 63 balls.
