RR vs SRH IPL 2026 Eliminator: Rajasthan Royals star opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi unleashed a complete onslaught during their IPL 2026 Eliminator match against Sunrisers Hyderabad as he blazed a match-winning knock of 97 runs off 29 balls. After the match, his fellow teammate Dhruv Jurel disclosed the mantra fueling this teen sensation's aggressive batting.

The Rajasthan-based franchise pummeled the Pat Cummins-led side by 47 runs in a run-fest Eliminator match in Mullanpur and have now surged closer to clinching their second trophy. Sooryavanshi once again emerged as the standout performer for the Riyan Parag-led side. He demolished the SRH bowlers and hammered 12 sixes and five fours, propelling the team to a mammoth total of 243 runs.

Dhruv Jurel, who also blasted a quick fifty, extolled the teen sensation's aggressive style and said that he strides to the crease with unwavering confidence.

"The best thing about Vaibhav is that he doesn’t overthink—he puts in relentless hours at practice and always trusts himself. Every time he steps out, there’s a glint of belief in his eyes. He never doubts, never hesitates; you feel his confidence fill the stadium," Jurel told reporters, his voice brimming with pride after the match.

He also revealed why Vaibhav is so special: his main aim is the ball, not the bowler he is facing.

"When you start cricket, coaches say watch the ball, not the bowler. But as kids, our nerves make us watch the bowler instead. With Vaibhav, it’s different—he locks onto the ball, fearless and focused. He ignores reputations, blocks out pressure, and sees the ball as an opportunity. That’s his magic," Jurel smiled, clearly moved.

Defending a massive 244, the RR bowlers rose to the occasion, their energy palpable. They struck early and often, leaving the Pat Cummins-led side shaken at 57/4 during the powerplay, despite Ishan Kishan’s brisk counterattack that momentarily stirred hope for SRH.

Jofra Archer (3/58) and Nandre Burger (2/26) spearheaded the bowling attack, dismantling the SRH lineup for 196 runs and sealing the match victory.
