ODI World Cup 2023 Points Table: India remain the only undefeated in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023 after they defeated New Zealand in the match at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala on Sunday.
It was a top-of-the-table teams' clash between first-placed New Zealand and second-placed India as both had the same points with the former having a better net run rate.
Virat Kohli's heroics were clinical enough to outplay the Blackcaps and help India return to the top of the standings with 10 points in five matches and an NRR of +1.353.
India have won all of their five matches in the tournament so far, having defeated Australia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and New Zealand.

South Africa, who are playing some exceptional cricket, stand third on the points table with three wins and six points and have a massive NRR of +2.212 following their 229-run win over England on Saturday.
Australia were seen at the bottom half of the table earlier in the tournament but have made a big improvement. They have two wins from four games and an NRR of -0.193 sees the five-time World Cup champions occupy fourth place in the points table.
Babar Azam’s Pakistan have slipped to fifth place after their defeat against Australia as they have four points from as many games but have an inferior NRR of -0.456.
While India have strengthened their footing to make it to the semifinal, as many as five teams are level on two points, making the race for top four even more challenging.
Bangladesh have the best NRR of -0.784 among all and thus they are in sixth place while the Netherlands are seventh with a -0.790.
Sri Lanka stand in eighth place with an NRR of -1.048 whereas the defending champions England find themselves in ninth place after their defeat against the Proteas and their NRR has slumped to -1.248.
Afghanistan are at the bottom of the table with an NRR of -1.250 but will have a chance to improve the numbers when they face Pakistan in their next match at the Chepauk Stadium on Monday, October 23.
Talking about the India vs New Zealand match, the Blackcaps posted a challenging total of 273 in their 50 overs on the back of a remarkable innings of 130 runs from Daryl Mitchell.
Chasing the target, skipper Rohit Sharma provided a promising start before getting dismissed for 46 runs. Virat Kohli went on to play another match-winning, scoring 95 runs in 104 deliveries.
Ravindra Jadeja, who provided great support to the former Indian skipper after coming at no.7, finished the game with a boundary with India claiming the fifth win by four wickets and two overs to spare.
