India vs South Africa 3rd ODI Updates: Rohit Sharma added another feather to his cap during the third and final ODI match between India and South Africa at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Saturday. Rohit has now completed 20,000 runs in international cricket.

Rohit looked in good touch during India's run chase and reached the milestone in the 14th over as he took a single off Keshav Maharaj. Rohit has become the fourth Indian after Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, and Rahul Dravid to enter the special 20,000 club. Overall, the veteran batter is the 14th cricketer to feature in this elusive list.

The former Indian skipper Rohit took 538 innings to reach the 20,000-run milestone at an average of 42.40. The stellar 18-year-old career has seen a total of 50 international centuries and 110 50-plus fifties.

He also went past AB de Villiers to become the 13th-highest run-scorer in international cricket. Rohit went on to a magnificent half-century, his first in the ongoing series. He stitched a magnificent partnership with Yashasvi Jaiswal to set the tone for India's run chase.

Rohit missed out on his century as he was dismissed for 75 runs, which he scored on the back of seven fours and three sixes. Rohit and Jaiswal stitched a 155-run opening stand with the latter smashing his maiden ODI century. Notably, Rohit headed into the South Africa series on the back of a century and a fifty during the Australia tour.
