When will Smriti Mandhana get married? Amidst a lot of speculations around the wedding of India's star cricketer, Smriti Mandhana, and musical composer Palash Muchhal, an update has confirmed that the wedding will go on as per the plan. Palash's mother, Amita, has stated that the couple is under distress due to the entire situation, and the wedding will take place as soon as the situation improves.

Notably, Smriti's father encountered chest pain, which got him hospitalised in Sangli, Maharashtra. The emergency forced the families to postpone it.

However, the groom-to-be, Palash, had to be admitted to the hospital, as his mother claimed that her son kept 'crying' due to the condition of Smriti Mandhana's father.

“Smriti and Palash dono takleef mein hain. Palash dreamt of coming home with his bride. I had even planned a special welcome. Everything will be fine, shaadi bohot jaldi hogi," Amita was quoted as saying by the Hindustan Times.

Palash's Condition Linked To Stress

“Palash’s condition appears to be linked to stress-related distress rather than a serious cardiac event. While certain levels were found to be slightly elevated, there was no indication of a major cardiac or medical emergency," Dr Dipendra Tripathi, one of the senior doctors monitoring Palash, told Mid Day.

“Oxygen therapy was started immediately as a basic line of treatment. After initial stabilisation, he (Palash) was shifted to a general room and kept under observation," Tripathi added.

Doctors said that the intense emotional strain from recent events may have triggered the episode. With supportive care and rest, Palash’s vitals and stress level stabilized and improved.

Hospital authorities confirmed on Wednesday that Palash is now stable, recovering, and has been discharged. He has been advised to rest completely for at least three weeks to prevent any return of symptoms.
