INDU19 vs PAKU19: Chennai Super Kings' opening batter Ayush Mhatre was named captain for the 15-member squad for the upcoming U19 Asia Cup scheduled to take place in Dubai. Mhatre, in all likelihood, will open the batting alongside sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi. The tournament will start on December 12 and will be played in an ODI format.

The selectors have retained Mhatre as skipper, as the 18-year-old also led India in the multi-format tour of Australia in September and October.

The tournament will serve as preparations for the young turks, who will be heading to Zimbabwe and Namibia for the marquee U19 World Cup in January-February next year. Vihaan Malhotra has been appointed as a deputy to Mhatre for the tournament.
