India's teenage batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is looking forward to returning to familiar surroundings as Team India prepare to take on Zimbabwe in the opening T20I of the three-match series at the Harare Sports Club on Thursday, July 23.
The 15-year-old, who has quickly emerged as one of India's brightest young talents, described Harare as a venue filled with unforgettable memories after helping India lift the ICC U-19 World Cup at the same ground just four months ago.

Sooryavanshi Recalls Harare Memories
Speaking to the official BCCI channel ahead of the series opener, Sooryavanshi reflected on the emotional significance of returning to the venue where he enjoyed one of the biggest moments of his young career.
"We are currently in Harare, Zimbabwe, and this is a very memorable ground for me. Just four months ago, we played the U-19 World Cup here and won it, so it's a very special ground," Sooryavanshi said.
The Rajasthan Royals youngster added that wearing the Indian jersey at the same venue once again makes the occasion even more special.
Vaibhav said, "Representing India is everyone's dream, and it's a truly special moment. To return and play on such a great ground where we created history just four months ago is a wonderful feeling, so we will enjoy it."
Sooryavanshi also believes his previous experience in Harare could prove valuable when India begin their campaign against Zimbabwe.
"I got a good sense of the pitch and conditions back then as well. So I'll try to apply those learnings in the match and perform well," he asserted.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Eager To Bounce Back
The left-handed batter has experienced a bad phase for a few months since his breakthrough performances at the junior level. While expectations have increased following his rapid rise, Sooryavanshi insisted he remains focused on improving and contributing to the team.
He praised the Indian coaching staff for ensuring he has everything needed to prepare for the series.
"Obviously, whatever we need, the coaches are providing. I got all the practice I required, and I'm feeling good and confident," he said.
The youngster also acknowledged that cricket brings both success and setbacks, adding that staying committed to the process remains his biggest priority.
"These last four months have had their share of ups and downs, but that's part of cricket and life. Ups and downs will keep happening. I just need to follow the process and give 100% for the team," he concluded.
India will begin the three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe at the Harare Sports Club on Thursday at 4:30 PM IST, with Sooryavanshi expected to be one of the players to watch.
Having already tasted success at the venue with India's U-19 side, the youngster will now hope to translate those memories into another impactful performance.
