ZIM vs SL 3rd T20I: Sri Lanka had defeated Zimbabwe by eight wickets during the 3rd T20I on the back of a match-winning knock by Kamal Nishaara, who had scored a match-winning knock of 73 runs. While chasing 192 runs, they finished the target in just 17.4 overs, and had lost just two wickets and won the series by 2-1.
Zimbabwe Post Strong Total Of 191 After Collective Batting Effort
During the 3rd T20I on Sunday, Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bowl first. Zimbabwe opener Brian Bennett was dismissed by Dushmanta Chameera after scoring 13 runs. But the host bounced back as Tadiwanashe Marumani scored a gritty knock of 51 runs off 41 balls, in which he had smashed six fours and one six.
Sean Williams too scored a quick-fire knock of 23 runs off 11 balls and helped the team stay alive in the match by smashing fours continuously. After Williams' wicket, captain Sikandar Raza scored 28 runs off 18 balls and smashed three fours and one six.
After Raza's wicket, the host had scored 121/3 in 12 overs. Marumani brought up his fifty but got out during the next two overs. Batters like Ryan Burl and Tashinga Musekiwa went all guns blazing as they scored 26 and 18 runs.
The host posted a mammoth target of 191 runs, whereas Dushan Hemantha took three wickets in the four overs that he bowled, and Chameera registered figures of 2/33.

The visitors faced a stiff challenge while chasing 192 in the 3rd T20I. But they batted with a clear intent. Their openers Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Mendis took the Zimbabwe bowlers to the cleaners, by smashing fours during the first few overs, and had put the visitors in the commanding position.
