AP EDCET 2024 Counselling: The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) will be able to lock web options for the second round of Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test (AP EDCET) 2024 counselling beginning today, September 26. Applicants can use the official website of AP EDCET at edcet-sche.aptonline.in, to freeze their web options for AP EDCET 2024 phase 2 counselling.
Following the publication of the results from the first round of counselling, qualified applicants who did not obtain a seat or wish to modify their assigned seat can participate in the second round of choice filling and locking.
The AP EDCET 2024 Phase 2 seat allotment results are scheduled to be revealed on September 28, 2024. Applicants must log in with their registration number and date of birth to view the results. Those who are shortlisted have to finish self-reporting and report to their designated colleges between September 28 and October 3, 2024.
AP EDCET 2024 Counselling: Choice Freezing Options
When the freezing deadline is reached, no additional adjustments or revisions to the options selected by the applicant are permitted. This is how it works.
- Web Options Entry: Applicants choose and prioritise their choice of colleges and courses.

- Freezing: Once the web option entry is finished, candidates are given a time limit to finalize their choices. Once this period expires, the applicants' options are "frozen," which means they cannot make any further adjustments.
- Locking Options: Applicants may make changes to their selections before the freeze deadline. However, after freezing, the choices will be locked in, and the algorithm will take these final preferences into account when allocating seats.
- Post-Freezing: Once alternatives have been frozen, the counselling authorities use these preferences to assign seats based on merit and accessibility.
In AP EDCET 2024, the freezing of web choices for phase 2 will take place on September 26, 2024, which is the deadline for making any changes to the options. After this date, all seat allocation options are locked in.
