AP NMMS 2025 Registration: The registration period for the 2025 Andhra Pradesh National Means cum Merit Scholarship (AP NMMS) has been extended by the Directorate of Government Examinations to October 3. Students who are eligible and interested can complete up the AP NMMS 2025 form by going to the official website of BSE at bse.ap.gov.in. December 8, 2024, is the planned date of the AP NMMS 2025 exam.
To select applicants for the NMMS, each state or union territory administers its exam. To be eligible, students must pass the NMMS exam with a combined score of at least 40% on the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). However, the passing percentage is 32% for students who belong to Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Scheduled Castes (SC).
The NMMS, which is part of the Central Sector Scheme, commenced in 2008 with CCEA approval. Its principal purpose is to offer scholarships to excellent students from low-income families to keep them in school after eighth grade and to encourage them to continue their academic journey into secondary education.

AP NMMS 2025: Registration fees
Students must pay an exam fee to complete their AP NMMS 2025 enrollment. The AP NMMS 2025 registration fee payment deadline is October 14. Students from the General and Backward Classes must pay Rs 100 as the AP NMMS 2025 exam fee. Aspirants from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) must pay a fee of Rs 50.
AP NMMS 2025: Scholarship fees
Each year, one lakh fresh scholarships are awarded to selected ninth-grade students, with the option of renewing in grades 10 through 12, allowing them to attend state government, government-aided, and local body institutions. The NMMS scholarship value was increased to Rs 12,000 per year beginning April 1, 2017, up from Rs 6,000 per year earlier.
