BPSC 70th Notification 2024: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released a notification for the 70th Combined Competitive Examination and other examinations for 2024. The registration process will start on September 28 and the last date to apply will be October 18. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply online at bpsc.bih.nic.in.
This recruitment drive will fill up a total of 1,957 vacant seats in the organisation. The BPSC is conducting the 70th CCE recruitment to fill various positions, including Sub-Divisional Officer/Senior Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Commandant, Superintendent, Sub Registrar, Sub Election Officer, Assistant Director, District Minority Welfare Officer, Sugarcane Officer, Employment Officer, Assistant Planning Officer, Additional District Transport Officer, and several other posts.
The BPSC CCE prelims exam will consist of an objective-type, multiple-choice format, focused on General Studies, carrying a total of 150 marks. Candidates will get 2 hours to attempt the question paper and negative marking will be applied, with 1/3 of a mark being deducted for each incorrect response.
BPSC 70th Exam 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Applicants for the BPSC 70th Prelims must have a graduate degree in any discipline. The age limit for general candidates is between 20 and 37 years as of August 1, 2024. However, age relaxations will be granted according to BPSC regulations.
BPSC 70th Exam 2024: Application Fees
The application fee for General, OBC, EWS, and candidates from other states will be Rs 600. For SC, ST, and PWD candidates, the fee will be Rs 150. Candidates will have to pay through the online payment system provided on the BPSC portal.
BPSC 70th Exam 2024: Selection Process
The selection process includes three stages: a Prelims Written Exam, a Mains Written Exam, and an Interview. Candidates who qualify will also need to complete document verification and a medical examination to secure their final appointments.
