BPSSC Bihar ASI Recruitment 2024: Bihar Police Sub-ordinate Services Commission has released the notification for the Steno Assistant Sub Inspector posts in Home (Police) Dept. Govt. of Bihar. The registration process will start on December 17 and will end on January 17, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at bpssc.bih.gov.in.

This recruitment drive will fill up a total of 305 vacant seats in the organsiation. Candidates are advised to read the notification before applying for the BPSSC Bihar ASI Recruitment 2024 application form.

BPSSC Bihar ASI Recruitment 2024: Application Fee

Candidates belonging to the Extremely Backward Class, Backward Class, Economically Weaker Section, and Unreserved Class natives of Bihar and candidates from outside the state, regardless of category, will need to pay an application fee of Rs 700.

Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe categories native to Bihar, female candidates of all classes/categories from the state, and disabled persons of all categories will need to pay an application fee of Rs 400.

BPSSC Bihar ASI Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the post, candidates must have completed Intermediate or Class 12. The age limit for general category candidates is between 18 to 25 years. For OBC category candidates, the age limit is 18 to 27 years for males and 18 to 28 years for females. For SC/ST category candidates, the age limit is 18 to 30 years.

BPSSC Bihar ASI Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

The selection process will consist of two stages: a written test and a skill test. The written test will have two papers:

- Paper I: General Hindi (100 marks)
- Paper II: General Knowledge and Reasoning (200 marks)

The skill test will include:

- A Shorthand Test (80 WPM in Hindi)
- A Typing Test (minimum 30 WPM in Hindi)

The final selection will be based on the candidate's performance in both the written and skill tests.
