CSIR UGC NET 2026 Registration: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially commenced the registration process for the Joint CSIR UGC NET June 2026 examination from May 27, 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can now submit their application forms through the official website, csirnet.nta.nic.in.

The Joint CSIR UGC NET examination is conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as Assistant Professor, admission to PhD programmes, or both in universities and colleges across the country. The examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.

According to the official schedule, candidates can submit their online applications till June 19, 2026, up to 11:50 PM. The last date for payment of the examination fee is June 20, 2026. NTA has also announced that the application correction facility will remain available from June 22 to June 23, 2026.

CSIR UGC NET June 2026 Important Dates

Examination Schedule and Subjects:

The CSIR UGC NET June 2026 examination will be conducted in two shifts. The morning shift will take place from 9 AM to 12 Noon, while the afternoon shift will be conducted from 3 PM to 6 PM. The duration of the examination will be three hours.

The exam will be conducted in English and Hindi for the following subjects:

-Chemical Sciences

-Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences

-Life Sciences

-Mathematical Sciences

-Physical Sciences
