CTET 2024: The deadline to apply for the forthcoming CTET January 2024 exam has been extended by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Interested candidates can now apply on the official website of CTET at ctet.nic.in, by December 1st if they haven't already. For the convenience of the candidates, the original deadline of November 27 has been extended.

There are two papers in the CTET 2024 exam: paper I is for assigning teachers to Classes 1 through 5, and paper II is for assigning teachers to Classes 6 through 8. There will be no negative marking for wrong responses, simply multiple-choice questions (MCQ) with a single mark for each question on the CTET 2024 exam paper.

How to register for CTET 2024?

Step 1: Visit the official website of CTET at ctet.nic.in.

Step 2: After this click on the link that reads, “Apply for CTET Jan 2024,” available on the homepage.

Step 3: Now, candidates have to click on the new registration tab and then register themselves with the necessary details.

Step 4: Candidates have to login themselves with the credentials generated during registration.

Step 5: Fill out the application form and pay the exam fee.

Step 6: Upload the documents and submit the form.

Step 7: Download the form and take a printout for further reference.
