CTET July 2024 Registration: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the deadline to submit applications for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2024) to April 5. To obtain a qualifying certificate, applicants who intend to teach classes 1 through 8 must take the CTET July exam in 2024. Applicants can now register for the CTET 2024 July session on the official website, ctet.nic.in, until April 5.

According to the timetable, the CTET July exam 2024 will be placed on July 7 in two shifts: paper 2 from 9.30 am to 12 noon and paper 1 from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.

“The last date for submission of online Applications for CTET-July,2024 has been extended up to 05/04/2024 (Before 11:59 PM). Applicant facing any technical issue while filling CTET application form may contact: 8802580447,” the latest update read.

As per the CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws, the minimum credentials for instructors to teach various topics in Classes 1 through 8 in board-affiliated schools should be CTET-qualified or TET held by the state government in compliance with NCTE norms.

CTET qualifying certificates are valid for a lifetime in all categories. The scores are valid in the following organizations.

- CTET scores apply to central government schools including Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), Central Tibetan Schools, and

- Schools administered by the Union Territory of Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman-Diu and Andaman-Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, and the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

- Unaided private schools also recognize the CTET certificate as genuine.

- Schools that are operated by state governments, municipal organizations, and aided schools may participate in the state government-conducted TET. If a state government chooses not to perform the state TET, it may consider the CTET as well.
