HP TET 2024 Registration: The Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has started the registration process for the Himachal Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test (HP TET) 2024 for the November session. Candidates will be able to apply till October 18, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for HP TET 2024 at hpbose.org.
The last date of payment without a late fee will be October 18, 2024. Candidates can submit their online applications with a late fee of Rs 600 until October 21. Corrections in all fields, except category/subcategory, can be made online from October 22 to October 24.
"The candidates shall be permitted to make online corrections in the following particulars: Candidate name, Father's name, Mother's name, Date of Birth, Candidate photo, Signature, Contact number, Email ID, Gender, Eligibility, Nationality, Correspondence address, Permanent address, Pin code, District, Choice of Examination Center Subdivision," reads the notification.
HP TET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Primary Teachers: Candidates must have at least 50 per cent in senior secondary along with a diploma in elementary education. Alternatively, they may have completed or be pursuing a four-year B.El.Ed degree with a minimum of 50 per cent in senior secondary.
Upper Primary Teachers: Candidates must hold a graduation degree with 50 per cent marks and a 1-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), or a graduation degree with 45 per cent marks and a 1-year B.Ed as per NCTE norms. They may also qualify with a graduation degree and a 2-year diploma in elementary education, or with 50 per cent in senior secondary and a four-year B.El.Ed degree.

HP TET 2024 Application Fee
The application fee for HP TET 2024 will be Rs 1,200 for general category candidates, while candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Physically Handicapped (PH) categories are required to pay Rs 800. The fee can be paid online through credit card, debit card, UPI, or net banking.
