HSSC Constable Recruitment 2024: The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) is closing applications for Constable positions tomorrow, September 24. Eligible and interested people can apply for the 5,600 open positions on the official website of HSSC at hssc.gov.in. There is no application cost for this recruitment campaign.

Of the total openings, 4,000 are for General Duty (Male Constable) and 600 are for General Duty (Female Constable) positions. The remaining 1,000 positions are for Male Constables in India Reserve Battalions.

HSSC Constable Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Applicants who completed the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for category C posts can apply for these positions.

To apply for these positions, individuals must have completed at least Class 12 from a recognized board. They must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit in class ten. Applicants with higher education will not be eligible for additional credit.

The applicant must be at least 18 years old and no older than 25 on September 1, 2024. Applicants from the reserved category would be eligible for age relaxation under government norms.

HSSC Constable Recruitment 2024: Selection process and exam pattern

The selection procedure will include three stages: a physical measurement test, a physical screening test, and a knowledge test.

The commission will invite applicants for PMT and PST based on the merit list created from the HSSC Group C test.

Following the round, applicants equal to four times the number of openings will be invited to the knowledge exam.

The knowledge test will consist of objective multiple-choice questions with a weightage of 94.5 per cent. To be eligible for selection, general category candidates must score at least 50%, while reserve category applicants must earn 40%.
